For education is the key to success. With education it comes with
different aspects to learn that can guide anyone down the road of success,
but all it takes is the right guidence
Most children are found pastoraling with herds of cattle.
But instead we would want for these children to be in school acquire skills and
knowledge plus wisdom that will enable them to be successful in any other area of
expertise.
Karamoja is blessed with beautiful landscapes that give calm and comfort for relaxing and touring.
We engage and advance Karamoja's development through Advocacy, sharing information experiences and strategies in the United Kingdom and Uganda, to also Strengthen the Karamojong's voices and capacity to participate effectively and influence decisions and promote Service Delivery.
We also want to empower Karamoja girls and boys build their confidence, and status through their participation in groups educationin which they can determin programs to secure livelihoods of their families.
We want to educate the Karamojong and to up lift the illiteracy level to the
standard of other part of Uganda and to advance education and training in the history, culture,
art and language of the Karamojong people and other subjects....
We also want to advance public education, in particular for African
youth and their parents, by the provision of workshops, seminars, and training courses on
subjects including health education, self-help and social enterprise development.
Our massive donation to Karamoja for the purpose of promoting involvement in development of communities to raise their standards of living and to create a positive mind set on development issue.... For exmple we want to involve ourselves in supporting the schools, medical facilities in the area, and also we want to futhermore implement and develope sustainable programmes in Agriculture.
AKCFU wants to play a vital role in ensuring that medical facilities in Karamoja are well-equipped. We provide much-needed medical equipment, and supply essential medicines, vaccines, and other medical supplies to... combat prevalent diseases and improve the overall quality of care. These contributions help to strengthen the capacity of healthcare providers in the region and enhance the effectiveness of medical treatments.
The donations given to these children made them happy and joyful, for it is the happiness that we want to instill and leave with these kids in Karamoja region.
The Karamojong Community looks happier, this is one of the reasons as to why we donate to keep them as happy as possible, mothers look happpy, the children are happy and also the team is happy.
